Code of Conduct

At hackUMBC, it is a crucial aspect of our mission to embrace and promote inclusivity, accessibility, and ethicality. All participants are expected to respect our results in order to facilitate a positive hackathon experience. Please notify an organizer if you witness or experience violations of our rules.

Project Rules

• Submissions are only valid if worked on within the hacking period at hackUMBC (from 8:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 until 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026).

• Any commits made in the project Github repo must have been made within this timeframe.

• We do not accept cross-submissions from other hackathons, and your hackUMBC project may not be cross-submitted to other hackathons.

A violation of the project rules will result in disqualification and immediate removal from the event and a permanent ban on all future events hosted by hackUMBC.
